Turning Friends into Monsters

It's easy to fear sharks.  It's also easy to make money perpetuating that fear in articles, headlines, movies, and TV shows.  The irony lost on many of us is that we are demonizing a creature responsible for keeping the very ecosystem we depend upon going.  Also lost on many of us is that sharks are in fact beautiful creatures that are mesmerizing to witness in person.  But again, if we've been told they are monsters and don't know better, well, then, they remain monsters.
