Tax Exempt Donations 

White Shark  Video is an incorporated nonprofit in California dedicated to raising public and global awareness of perils facing white sharks and other pelagic species in our oceans through the use of rich media and public events.  Donate to a good cause today and deduct this donation from your taxes!

While WSV awaits its own 501(C)3 approval (the IRS is behind) we are proudly supported by our fiscal sponsor, IAM (Independent Arts and Media).  This is an established and trusted organization helping independent filmmakers bring their stories to life since 2000 and is listed as a bronze-level Guidestar Exchange participant.

IAM and WSV are happy to provide any necessary signatures and forms to assist in the filing of your tax deductible contribution.

Where does the money go?

  • While many collaborators donate their time and vessels because they believe in the cause, this is not always possible.  Therefore some times the cost of fuel, time, and charters must be paid.)
  • Camera Equipment

  • Publicity Campaigns
  • Paying talent to help with post production
  • Set up costs for public events (school programs, public speaking events, educational galleries)


If you'd like your funds put to a specific project just let us know, we're happy to oblige.

WSV survives through the help of shark and environmental enthusiasts.  $$ donations are not the only way to contribute!  Donate your time and your talents! Donate frequent flyer miles (tax deductible!!).  Come along on a filming trip! Share your writing talents on our blog.  Buy a print or some shark-themed clothing.  Just contact us and we'll think of something together. And if you do decide to give a $$$ donation, you can choose to write it off your taxes!
