Just finished swimming with sharks again today, will do it again tomorrow.  Wonderful experience, wonderful animals. They could tear me apart at any time, but have no desire to. We, on the other hand, can kill everything...and do.
Kills me to see the senseless killing of tiger sharks in WA.  I'm just going to let Blair Ranford's words speak for me today.
From his post:

"Through out this whole shark cull, I have seen many horrors. Sharks brought up dead after drowning on the lines, another we watched slowly strangle itself to death over 3 hours, vainly waiting for Fisheries to arrive and release the poor thing. I have seen numerous sharks with holes in their heads from the hooks, and swam with tigers after release as they billow blood from their wounds. I’ve seen ‘released’ sharks sink straight to the bottom, where they lay belly up never to move again. And I’ve seen clearly alive sharks treated as dead, and driven 8kms out to sea to be dumped. But never before today have I had to witness a shark being shot. Shot for simply being where it’s meant to be, in the ocean. This large breeding age female tiger shark was shot multiple times in the head. All so people her in WA can enjoy, in Premier Barnetts words, ‘that unique lifestyle’. Well what a disgrace of a lifestyle it must be if you need this done in your name. No tiger shark has been responsible for a death in southern WA in many decades. Terrible to watch, disgraceful to see, and wrong in the extreme. If you agree then I ask you to please submit your opinion to the EPA before Wednesday. Only you can get this stopped. The sound of those gunshots is still echoing in my head"
