One Drop of Blood...

We've all heard that sharks can smell one drop of blood in an Olympic size swimming pool. What's that mean for you and me? Watch and find out.

Perhaps it's the fact that we aren't participating members of the food chain that causes us to forget that the ocean is full of other scents...scents that the sharks are also keenly aware of. Why exactly do we think they are going to drop everything they are doing and be more interested in our blood? Sharks have jobs to do, niches to fulfill, and have been doing so for millions of years. We don't have anything to do with that. As @DrChrisNeff says, "We're in the way, not on the menu"
