I know I know, I'm showing disrespect for the value of human life...  Or am I?  Considering that adding more humans is, in the long-term, the equivalent of ushering in our own extinction, I'm actually helping the survival of mankind by suggesting that we save an animal that is essential to a healthy planet rather than donating millions of dollars that disappear in the abyss of departments within massive research companies.  Do we really need people to live longer anyway?  The reason we are in the predicament we're in is due to overpopulation in the first place.

These two campaigns provide an opportunity to donate to projects where you can actually see your money being put to good use because both groups are fighting for sharks out in the field; actual "getting hands dirty" type of work, which will also be documented so you can see the results of your actions.
