Shark Week is upon us so I decided to roll out a few hype filled videos of my own...except I removed most of the hype by analyzing the footage and inviting you to make your own decision.  Don't worry, the footage is still really pretty amazing, it just might not be as danger filled as first portrayed.  I'm rolling out these three episodes over the next few days including events that happened to me (featuring my own footage) as well as stories I found online.

Part 1: Rescued...from what exactly?

To drive the “over-hype” theme home I decided to host these episodes while paddle boarding around the shipwreck in Aptos, where the media outlets had been claiming to be “infested with an invasion” of white sharks.
